Shavon Montgomery, LGPC
Shavon Montgomery is a two time graduate from Coppin State University. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology (2014), Master’s of Education degree in Rehabilitation Counseling (2017), and counseling certificate (2017). Shavon has spent close to a decade advocating for individuals in the academic and vocational arena that have various diagnoses that include: intellectual disability, ADHD/ADD, physical and visual impairments; psychological, mental and emotional impairments, and autism spectrum Disorder.
Shavon has served in various roles during her time at Coppin State that include Disability Support Services program counselor for students that have various diagnoses and ensuring they have the proper accommodations in place to be successful; Career Counselor for the Ticket to Work Program that serves individuals that receive SSI/SSDI who desire employment; and Life Skills Coach for young adults with the Baltimore Transition Connection Program that have intellectual disabilities and preparing them for adulthood and independence.
Shavon is looking forward in continuing to empower youth and adults and grow as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC). She believes that no matter what an individual may be struggling with on a day to day, they are more than capable of attaining a meaningful and rewarding life with the proper supports.

Marjorie Gold LCPC is a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 35 years of mental health experience, in inpatient, outpatient, and school settings. With a background in art therapy, she brings creativity and compassion to her work with clients. Her approach focuses on building a strong interpersonal connection, using that bond to help clients build strength-based individualized coping skills. Ms. Tannica Stokes is a Baltimore native who is very passionate about transforming the behavior and mind set of those who may be struggling with mental health issues such as self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, life issues, depression, anxiety, substance abuse etc.
Ms. Stokes is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Education in Baltimore, Maryland. Mayra Schneider is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of Maryland. I have been working in the field of mental health for five years as a PRP counselor and now as a therapist. Taylor Kennerly, LCPC
Taylor is an LGPC who received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Howard University. She then continued on to procure her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bowie State University. While working on her master’s degree, she completed her internship hours working at an inpatient center specializing in firefighters and first responders. Taylor’s population experience extends from the LGBTQ+ community to veterans. Her experience with low-income communities has also allowed her opportunities to work closely with disadvantaged youth in the foster system. She has experience working with clients who suffer from anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma.
Outside of treatment, she enjoys being a mother, watching anime and binge reading as many books as she can! As a therapist, she values a strong rapport with her clients and a mutual effort towards growth and healing.
Janet Illonoh, LCPC
I am very passionate about creating mental health awareness and believe strongly in empowering my clients to discover their inner strengths. I have been privileged to witness the power of therapy in my work with clients, as well as in my personal life, through the consistent use of therapy as a part of my own self-care. Authenticity, empathy, and self-awareness are a critical part of the therapeutic process for me and my clients. Dr. Oyefeso is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a doctorate degree in Psychiatric and Mental health Nursing from University of Maryland Baltimore. Dr. Oyefeso works with each client to develop a treatment plan that will meet their specific needs. Due to over 10 years’ experience in mental health field, she is equipped with the ability to provide accurate psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis. Brittany Dubiel, Practice Manager Brittany has been in the medical/health & wellness field for 4 years and has been with FIP since May 2018, with 11 years of management experience and 3 years of Early Childhood Education. Since joining the organization, she has excelled at managing the schedule, assisting clinicians, patient/client services as well as administrative tasks. Brittany crossed over to practice management for multiple Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Licensed therapists specializing in training, assisting with operations in the office. In her free time she spends time with her family and is engaged with her daughters ballet and her 2 sons football and basketball games.
Ethel Martin, Clinical Support Staff
Ethel has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and she is currently in school obtaining a Master’s degree in Social Work. Ethel brings over 6 years of mental health experience in case management, skill building, and program support. She assists the PRP program director in the implementation of program policies and procedures, and ensuring overall program compliance. Ethel enjoys helping others hence she continues to provide mentorship to youths in the community. In her free time, she spends time with her family.
